Health
The most obvious advantage of vaping is that it comes with a reduced health risk. If you enjoy smoking and nicotine then you’re likely to choose smoking over quitting. Vaping or using a smoke-free product is better when you consider the benefits and costs. You get everything a cigarette offers without the health risks.
Decades of research has proven the reduced health-risk of smoke-free products. Evidence has shown that there is no real risk of smokeless tobacco. It doesn’t make it completely harmless, but it does mean the risks are minimal.
Obviously long-term research for vaping is lacking because of how the technology continues to change. Studies are still being performed with vaping. There are no doubt some differences to the health effects among smoking alternatives, but these differences are small. There is still almost no risk to vaping. Switching to one of these products is around as safe as quitting entirely.

Flavours
Vaping is enjoyable because of the sheer number of flavours of e-liquids. Some vapers feel this flavour choice helps them quit smoking. You’d think the health benefits would overcome this downside, but that’s not enough for some people. Ex-smokers who try vaping and go back to smoking report the reason they eventually stuck with vaping was finding a flavour they liked. Several vapers also report that cigarettes taste bad after using a vape for a few months, making them less likely to go back.
There is a huge range of flavours made globally. It now has been years that e-liquids have been experimented which means flavours have gained in quality and now are made with more trusted ingredients. Flavour overall makes vaping that bit more fun to do as you can try a load of tasty e-liquids.

Aesthetics
E-cigarettes don’t produce the same odours and residue that cigarettes do. Someone who vapes politely and efficiently – allowing the droplets to stay in their lungs rather than trying to exhale the most – exhales almost no vapour. There’s also no harmful emissions from a vape like with a cigarette. Vape emissions are almost non-existent and – even better – are no threat at all to bystanders. Some nearby people report the smell of a nearby vape to be pleasant, especially compared to the smells of smoking.
Of course, vaping could be obtrusive in some places, and properties are well within their rights to forbid vaping, but there’s nothing aesthetically obtrusive about vaping in a bar, office, or similar public space.
-
Convenience
Given the small impact vaping has on the health of others, there are many places where vaping is socially acceptable while smoking isn’t. A major advantage of vaping is being able to do it without having to leave the room or office, and this is one reason people make the switch. There is also the option of taking a few quick puffs of an e-cig to get a small hit of nicotine, which is much more convenient than lighting and smoking a full cigarette.

Addiction

Even though more study has to be done, it appears vaping is much less addictive than smoking. Plenty of ex-smokers who believed they would never have managed to quit smoking discovered they could take or leave cigarettes after using a vape for a few months. These people tend to stick to vaping because they enjoy the flavour and reduced risks of vaping. Seasoned vapers report reducing their nicotine intake, going from having a lot while smoking to preferring less nicotine after vaping exclusively.
More and more reports show that electronic cigarettes have proven to be less addictive than regular tobacco products.
